Ready, Set, Teens

In just 8 weeks, watch your teenager transform into a confident, future-ready individual! This hands-on mentorship programme equips them with essential skills such as mindful tech use, emotional resilience, and Lean tools for personal growth, while nurturing their unique strengths and ambitions. They’ll explore SMART goal setting, memory hacks, leadership workshops, and cutting-edge AI tools, gaining the confidence and skills to excel academically and thrive in life.
By the end of the programme, they’ll leave with a standout portfolio, a roadmap to admissions, scholarships, or career success, and a clear plan with practical tools and skills for their brightest future—all achieved through fun and interactive weekend two hour sessions.


 

Week 1: Building a Strong Foundation (2 hrs)

By the end of Week 1, Learners will have understood their personality traits, their baseline skills, and set two specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) academic and personal goals. They will also create and personalise a mentorship journal to track progress and achievements throughout the programme.

Week 3:Time Management and Organisation

(2 hrs)

By the end of Week 3, learners will demonstrate mastery of digital time management tools, develop a structured research workflow, and master mindful technology (Computer, Phone, AI etc) use to boost productivity while maintaining balance and well-being.

Week 5:Academic Integration (2 hrs)

By the end of Week 5, learners will confidently apply study techniques such as active recall and spaced repetition to academic tasks. They will design and follow a personalised study schedule, deepen subject comprehension, and improve peer teaching skills through collaborative learning and reflection.

Week 7: Real-World Application and Accountability (2 hrs)

By the end of Week 7, learners will develop skills in self-directed learning and resilience by creating a personalised study and development plan, reflecting on their learning processes, and applying critical thinking and problem-solving strategies to real-world problems.

Week 2: Personalised Learning Strategies (2 hrs)

By the end of Week 2, learners will have identified their preferred learning styles and successfully applied at least three tailored strategies to enhance study effectiveness, including advanced research techniques, memory optimisation, and active notetaking.

Week 4:Emotional Resilience and Growth Mindset (2 hrs)

By the end of Week 4, Learners will develop strategies to cultivate emotional resilience and a growth mindset by understanding their own mindset, reflecting on personal experiences, and practicing tried and tested stress management techniques to approach challenges with a positive and adaptive mindset.

Week 6: Skills for Life beyond the classroom

(2 hrs)

By the end of Week 6, Learners will enhance leadership, self-management and interpersonal skills as well as age-appropriate Lean and CI Tools for Personal Development while exploring extra-curricular activities to build transferable skills like teamwork and time management.

Week 8: Reflection, Celebration, and Future Planning (2 hrs)

By the end of Week 8, learners will reflect on their achievements, receive constructive peer and instructor feedback. They’ll also get support on ongoing actions towards future academic and personal growth, all while celebrating their progress and fostering a positive, forward-thinking mindset.
